From children to men we cage ourselves in patterns to avoid facing new problems and possible failure after a while men become bored because there are no new problems. Such is life under the fear of failure.

About This Quote

Letting go of the fear of failure is the first step to living. It is an important step, because doing so allows you to truly become the person you want to be. When we are young, we think that adults are wiser than us. So, we learn to follow the rules and stay safe.

Unfortunately, this way of life doesn’t teach us much about life. We still think that the rules will work their way out for us. After all, they have worked for others before us.

But, as time goes on, we find ourselves trapped by these rules and unable to break free. The next step is to not be afraid of failing because you’ve failed before. The truth is that failure happens to everyone at some point in their lives.

You can’t avoid it completely, but you can learn from it and move forward.
